That guy had an article series in one of the site owner's mags..... either Projects in Metal (now Machinist's Workshop) or THSM.

There were a few articles, and then the series ended seemingly incomplete..... I had, IIRC, noticed a bunch of actual misinformation in a couple of them, and maybe that had something to do with it, dunno. He just flat disappeared, and I think there was some kind of comment in the mag about it.
