Hi folks,

While hand forming 12 dozen "buckeye" cookies, I figured there had to be an easier way to form dough into a ball. I was thinking of turning two mold halves in the lathe with an internal ball turner attachment, then affixing the halves to an arbor press. The dough is very dry, making it perfect for forming.

Any ideas or has anyone seen anything similar?

And as a thank you, I've put up about 2,000 Christmas and Holiday songs streaming at http://megamegaultra.com . Happy holidays. Now when can I get back to my garage...

Thanks, Derek

If you send me a dozen cookies for closer study, I may be better able to help you. :D

Wondering what liquid you been putting into the cookie dough, if it,s too dry, then refrain from drinking so much of it.

I used to use a melon baller. It worked really well but probably not as much fun as making your own and moving the arbour press into the kitchen...
