Anyone ever seen anything like this before..
a machine-tool powered keyseat cutter:

Wonder how well (if it all) it works.

Maybe make for an interesting project?

how is the hog driven? Doesn't look like theres much space in there.

Interesting idea, but I wouldnt do it. I can already see that "handle" keeping the entire thing from rotating coming loose and wacking me.

I am officially never giving up my shaper.

These look just like the keyseater products from National Machine Tool, here in Cincinnati, Ohio.

We used to use them on some production jobs in a shop i worked in once. Only problem ,is you have to have one for every size hole and key with. we had two one 1 1/2 with 3/8 key the other I do not remember the size may have been 1 inch hole with 1/4 key .but they are expensive.
