Picked up my Airco welder yesterday. Specs are:

Input 230V 45.5 amps single phase 60 Hz

Output 230 amp AC or 150 amp DC. Can switch the leads for fwd & rev on DC.

Crank on top to change the amps with a sliding scale on the upper LH corner of the face of the unit. Didn't measure it, but its about 16" X 18" X 24" mounted on small wheels and a handle on the back. Way heavier than a Lincoln buzz box. Took two of us to comfortably lift it into the back of my PU. Used my ramps to get it out by myself at home.

The serial # is JG139964 and the stock # is 1341-0276. I suspect it was built by Miller, but was unable to locate a manual or other info on the web.

Can anyone give me a definitive ID and hopefully a location of the PDF of the manual?

Thanks,

Stan

Weird,

Very close. I looked at the one on FleaBay as a comparison to determine if I was getting a good deal. I paid $275 and it is AC/DC not just AC.

Guess I'll make contact with the local Miller dealer this week.

When I worked for Airco (1978-79) their welders were made by Miller.
