    13/16-14 Plug or hose fitting

I'm looking to attach a drain hose to my 9x49 mill table. The drain holes at either end as best I can measure are a 13/16-14 thread. I see this thread on some automotive parts but have yet to run across any plug and/or hose fitting that has these threads. Any direction?
    regards

    Try a 1/2" pipe thread.

If that doesn't work, try 3/8 pipe fittings.

You didn't say machine brand, but my Jet MD is 3/8" pipe thread.

I tried the hose and found it to be a PITA. I use a mister or a squirt bottle so I am not dealing with a lot of fluid volume. I found this arrangement to be a lot better.

I used a 1/2" plastic pipe street ell and a short piece of pipe. The plastic bottle is hung off the ell with a piece of cord for a bail.

          1/2" pipe thread is 14tpi X .854 OD
          3/8 pipe thread is 18tpi X 0.667 OD

            Hmmm...
            Like the drink bottle idea.
Anyone ever machine a Gatorade cap made out of aluminum?

No but….. I did make a nut to fit the Hogdon’s Gun powder bottle. It uses a round thread. For this type application the profile doesn’t have to be a perfect match. Get the pitch and the major diameter right and it will work.

You could use the original plastic nut with a hole in it to accept a flanged tube. Any container will work but I like to be able to see the oil level in the bottle. The string bail makes it easy to remove/dump/reattach.

Not a Gatoraid bottle but plenty of oil, atf and soda bottles. It is super easy and a great first threading project.
