I'm looking to attach a drain hose to my 9x49 mill table. The drain holes at either end as best I can measure are a 13/16-14 thread. I see this thread on some automotive parts but have yet to run across any plug and/or hose fitting that has these threads. Any direction?

I tried the hose and found it to be a PITA. I use a mister or a squirt bottle so I am not dealing with a lot of fluid volume. I found this arrangement to be a lot better.
I used a 1/2" plastic pipe street ell and a short piece of pipe. The plastic bottle is hung off the ell with a piece of cord for a bail.
1/2" pipe thread is 14tpi X .854 OD
3/8 pipe thread is 18tpi X 0.667 ODLast edited by Boucher; 01-27-2012, 12:00 PM.Byron Boucher

Anyone ever machine a Gatorade cap made out of aluminum?

You could use the original plastic nut with a hole in it to accept a flanged tube. Any container will work but I like to be able to see the oil level in the bottle. The string bail makes it easy to remove/dump/reattach.Last edited by Boucher; 01-27-2012, 02:00 PM.Byron Boucher
