    OT: Wood Working BBs?

Anybody know of any good boards like this one for wood workers? I would prefer one that has a combination of amateurs and pros.

And if you look REAL close at an analog signal,
You will find that it has discrete steps.

Hmm, I personally think that anybody could DO far better, than go join that lot of total amateurs.

Any other forum/site would be a vast improvement !!

Yeah I've gotta give a +1 to Lumberjocks. There's a massive presence there and the amount of cross pollination is positively goofy. It's a good encouraging bunch of guys willing to share secrets.

I visit Sawmill Creek and Woodcentral. Both offer nice memberships that are quite varied in subject expertise.

The Sawmill Creek forum is odd, in that your screen name has to be your real name. That means that every post you make winds up on Google under your real name. That's a bit too invasive for me. The Old Wood Working Machines
( OWWM) forum was ok for a while, but I grew tired of excessive interference in the threads by the overactive moderators, and never went back. However, their " Mothership" site, " VintageMachinery.org" is separate from the forums, and has lots of good information and photos of old woodworking machines.
