Some time ago I saw a post by someone who had
figured out the real sizes of the belts needed
by an RF-30 mill-drill. Google & the search
here don't turn up anything interesting.

Anyone?

Thanks -

- Bart

I have an RF-30 Bart. How about taking the belts to a supply house and see what they can match to. Stay tuned for some upgrades I am doing to mine. How much backlash do your feedscrews have?

Also, ACRA machinery in S. El Monte, CA has spare parts. 800 225-4631.

According to my RF30 manual the belts are B34 and B42.

Thanks for the dimensions - my belts are
trashed to the point that I cannot read
'em anymore. I just sold this unit to a
good friend after I got my Bridgeport.

Some - and so does my Bridgeport. I've always
learned to work from one side and to lock the
axis not being moved to prevent problems. It's probably .030 or so - doesn't bother me
since I know it's there.
