Well I seen an ad for about 2 weeks running in the local paper, for machinist tools. And I gave in and called the guy. He was a retired mold maker. And need less to say, I bought em lol :D Here is a pic http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb456/chris_brown3/74749d90.jpg

And here is a list of what i got, 1,2,3,12,and 18" Starrett scales. Starrett #436 0-1, 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 5-6 mics with ball attachments. 1 to 12 Starrett Inside mics. Lufkin Telescope gauges. Lufkin radius gauges 1/32 to 1/2. Starrett Planer Gauge, 2 Lufkin Indicators with cases. Starrett Last Word Indicator with case and attachments. Mag bases, Starrett Surface gauge. Starrett Depth mics 0-6. Starrett machinist square, and scriber. 1/8 to 1/2 small hole gauge (i havent seen these before I might post pics to see exactly what they are). Starrett edge finder, Starrett drill point gauge, Thread gauges, Several pairs of calipers, 2 Federal Indicators, and the Kennedy Boxes...and other small stuff wrenches etc...

I was like a kid at Christmas :D :D

Very nice haul. I bought a similar box a couple of weeks ago, not as many tools in it, but all the ones in it were in great shape.

I was lucky enough when starting out with my home machine shop,to find a similar chest for $100.00 chock full of tools,mikes,etc.. It was so heavy I had to catch a bus for the several blocks away I was parked. I still use those tools,and they were the backbone of my shop tools for a long time.
