View Full Version : Threading dial for Clausing/cholchester

When I go my Clau/Chol. about 2 years ago it came with a trav-a-dial mounted where the threading dial should be, threading dial was in a box. In order to thread I had to one and istall the other, much PITA. Today I rectified the problem by mounting the threading dial at the other side of the apron. pics below. Pic one shows the trav-a-dial in place of the threading dial

This one shows the threading dial moved to the left side of apron.
Life should be a little easier now.

Good job. You could have mounted it beside the trav-l-dial too. Hey, clean that chip pan out!

I have that exact model of the trav-a-dial...mine is mounted to the right side of the threading dial...

If you ever need any spare parts for your trav-a-dial, ask me...i have a broken one sitting in a drawer...those are $575.00 brand new...
