LOL, Nope I'm not allowed to say that here.
No need to even use it. Buy it / bin it.. That cuts out all the unnecessary B.S. of actually using anything till it's wore out then binning it. Maybe it's an artifact Sir John unearthed during his recent shop dunging out?
Flylo should be bidding on that lathe so he can give those new micrometers a work out.

It's quite obvious from the last picture that the lathe has fallen over and possibly suffered damage as a result. It also lacks any form of safety guard. Since neither of these points was mentioned in the advertisement, I feel the seller can not be trusted.
I was at an autumn festival at a local botanical gardens (Kew) a few years back. At one stall, the fellows constructed a treadle wood lathe from raw materials using hand tools in half an hour. Usable, presentable, basic, commendable, quite as good as that piece of attic find.Richard - SW London, UK, EU.
