Updated my PC and put all the old programs on including Firefox 15.
I use an add on called Clippings which allows to to right click, select clippings and gives me a user menu of useful thing I copy a lot like email address, phone number etc.

Very useful add on.

However even though it's installed it doesn't show on on the right click.

Went to the Clippings support site on Google and someone else is having the same problem but so far no reply and I just wondered if the members here could shed any light on this ?

Downgraded back to V14 which used to work and still no joy.

Failing getting any help on this does anyone know another simple utility that can do similar ?

I haven't run a PC for a long time (I use Linux), but I recall that ClipMagic used to be a pretty good enhanced clipboard for Windows, which would do what you describe in all your applications, not just FireFox.

It's currently selling for US$15, or you can get a free full copy if you review it on your website.

In the address bar type:-

about:config

If asked, promise that you'll be careful.

Then find preference name:-

clippings.v3.first_run

Double click to change value from 'true' to 'false'

Might need to restart Firefox, but with luck everything should be o.k.

Cheers

Magic.
That worked but I did get an email over the weekend from the Clippings support site saying the same thing.
Unfortunately this site was down for a band aid
