I also recently got a BXA from Jeff at tools4cheap in the wedge design.

I had got a piston AXA from him last year and was impressed with it, so when I again needed a tool post, I immediately thought of Jeff. This is my 5th Chinese TP - 2 phase ll, 1 from CDCO, and then these 2 from Jeff, and this wedge is the winner! I dont just drop the tool holder in, I have to guide it in, its such a nice fit. And the extra length of the holders are a very nice added feature, the tool doest have to have as much overhang.

BXA=200

Aloris sizes their tool posts AXA, BXA, etc. BXA being bigger than AXA. A lot of time the knockoffs use the numbering scheme.

Find yourself a Aloris chart and you will see the many, many holders they have. Typically the knockoff companies only offer a subset of those holders. Sometimes you have to pay (Aloris prices) to play. BTDT

Im not sure dave but wouldnt surprise me. But this thing is big and heavy. I think it said it was for 10"-15" swing lathes. Its pretty big size.

One tip IF retrofitting a lathe to CNC, you can use one size up in lathe size for QCTP, due to the removal of the compound rest.
