Hi guys,
I need a couple of seals, more specifically I need to order by ID & OD as the numbers the local bearing house says are not correct.
Thanks,
Abner

If you have local stores try Federated Auto Parts and NAPA. I've found both to be more like the "old fashioned" parts houses that can actually cross reference sizes to part numbers.

Take your business to someone who cares enough to get you the right part what ever it takes.

Oil seals come in standard sizes and it is amazing what fits what. The oil seals on the transmission of my Land Rover are identical to a common Chevy transmission seal. Same with the half shaft seals in the front drive.

McMaster Carr lists them by ID OD & thickness.

McM is hard to beat. Especially with ~$4.00 a gallon gas it is cheaper to just go to their website and know you are more than likely going to find what you need than driving around in hopes of finding it in your local area.

Delivery in my case is often overnight.
