For some work my 5 hp compressor have not enough cfm. ex sandblasting and die grinding. Here come from the scrap box. A helper compressor. I plug it when needed. The starting coil on the helper is energized by T1 T2 on the 5hp. The helper had a delay unload valve at start. I use a quick connector at the bottom of the tank for the air. If in need to move the compressor I disconnect start wire and air. This arrangement give me 2 or3 more cfm. enough for my use. Lot cheaper than a bigger compressor I don't need most of the time.
