George it doesn't look like it's your problem!

This is a reply from a new Dell XPS8500 with W8.

So, what are we doing differently? Firefox 17.0.1 never remembers me, but two clicks (no typing needed) gets me in. IE10 does remember me, but I'll take two extra clicks over looking at ads any day.

If I knew the answer to that, Gates's bank account would be mine!

Firefox 17. Are you using the standard NOSCRIPT, GHOSTERY, and ADBLOCK addons?

If so make sure that NOSCRIPT allows the scripts from this site. (homeshopmachinist.net)

Just make sure "tracking protection" is on in IE9/10 and you won't need adblock and all that other stuff!

The only add-on I have is AdBlock. Here are my options settings.

I can add the sub-tabs if you think that would help.

The thing that really irritated me at first about W8 is the lack of an obvious "Back" button that will take you back to exactly where you were with just one click. Having to go through the start screen was a real pain.

Then I found that you CAN go directly back by clicking in the upper left corner. That made the new features much more enjoyable.
