Last week I posted my New-to-me Truck, Here's my New-to-me 28' Car-Mate Race car trailer with small living quarts up front, 2-6000# axles. heat & AC, deop down ramp door, ladder so you can sit on top. I lucked out for $1500 as it's $25K new without the living quarters, heat & air, etc. With the 12' flatbed truck I have 40' of cargo room or it would make a great mobile shop. Or if I make my wife mad:rolleyes:.

I like a 5th wheels except for the truck room you lose, but I have load bars on the hitch that make it ride & pull nice.

Ok, now i'm of course wondering what you would get "Lettered" on the sides and rear door???
Man you must be in an area of "Dire Straits" the amount of stuff you find cheap!! ?????

Bet some of us could come up with some suggestions to get that trailer lettered up!! Lol

The one thing you can always sell in this area is enclosed trailers as people moving out of state always buy them. This one weighs about 5000# so it need a decent size truck to pull it.

Nice trailer!

What do you get in the living quarters? Bed? Sink? Running water? Toilet?

Man, you're a king on the road with that thing.

Nice score Eric and it should go great with the new Dodge. Extra mancave anyone?

Several years ago an old guy that lived up the street from me stopped and looked at a Chevy 4X4 truck and 5th wheel that I had for sale. He ended up buying the whole rig and asked me if I could haul it over to his house for him because he had eye problems. I told him I'd be happy to help him out and that I would haul it to a lake lot or wherever he wanted it. He said, no I just want it in my driveway. At close to 80yo, he finally had his own mancave. HIS WIFE HAD 9 SIAMESE CATS IN THE HOUSE. It didn't smell bad or anything, but that is a lot of cats. The trailer never moved until his widow sold it.

Sorry, I felt like telling stories tonight.

Doug, It has bunk beds, stove, small couch with storage under, micowave, small fridge & cabinets. It also has a complete bathroom with sink, stool & shower that was removed to add more cargo room but the clean, grey & black water tanks are still underneath. I just want a warm place to sleep & cook when traveling as I like to keep moving. I've driven straight to Portland with only fuel stops. I've ordered an elrctic tongue jack for it as I'm getting (gotten old) LOL:o

Great deal on a nice trailer.

I saw the slickest trailer accessory the other day when the B.I.L. & sister had a storage shed delivered. It's 12x16 w/loft and delivered on a tipping, sliding, extending 5th-wheel flatbed. What was really cool was the trailer had drop-down wheels and could move the trailer side-to-side. The operator slid the shed off to within a few inches of a marking rod in the ground. He then got on a 3-wheeled gizmo that lifted one end at a time and moved the shed dead-on. Pays to have the right tools for the job.

Flylo will have one of these next , he will need it to carry more machines to his hangar., or out as the case may be .
Both are great , handy bits of equipment.
