I am thinking of building a small bender like a DI-Acro style 1A or 2, I was wondering if anyone has 'Bender - Dundat' ( I couldn't resist :o).

I was looking at larger models (Hossfeld & JD2), but for smaller brackets fittings and stuff - I think this size will work for me.

Any ideas or direction out there?

Thanks

Patrick

You should definitely check out the "shop and tools" forum of the www.pirate4x4.com site; some of those guys have built some seriously cool bending machines.

At the very least they'll tell you where and which dies are good and not a rip-off...

Another bender which I can recommend is the Protools 105. I have had mine for about two years and have no problems. The dies seem to cost about the same where ever you go.
They do run sales every so often

If you want to build a Hossfeld clone check this out:
