What is this made of to make it worth$1200+dollars ? I ask seriously what is in it other than a few hours enjoyment/work some scrap material and a little skill why I could make this without any trouble and I am not an engineer who is ripping who off? Still if some fool parts with so much money for so little then I don't blame the manufacturers a bit.Or maybe I do a lot GRRRR it is just plane wrong who in the company of manufaturers decides what to charge as I am sure thres 95% profit here unless of course it's platunum or gold then and only then GRRRRR Alistair

Save Yourself some $ , look at this.... a real bargain compared to the other listing and appears to be the same jig with a slightly less greedy seller.

It's becoming common for commercial ebay sellers, certainly in the UK, when a regular item is out of stock, to keep the ad going but with a silly price until they get fresh stock.

I've no idea whether that's the case here, but it could be.

And they can then advertise "Marked down from 768.00".

There is also a scheme to list one or many identical items at an inflated price. That makes the normal price seem like a bargain. Used in all kinds of sales for centuries probably.

I like the description which says, "Enables mortise & tenons and dowel joints to be cut with a router to be cut with a router."

It is common for me to see electrical components on Ebay for more than regular retail, sometimes way more. But, the internet will connect you to an idiot if one is out there.
