OK I could sort this but will take me time and I would still need to check the result.
Problem, I need to make a trough that goes part way round a circle. Not worried about the ends, they can be cut to fit afterwards out of flat plate. Not worried about the inner wall as this is just a section of a ring.
What I do need help with is the outer wall as this has to follow the circle but be inclined outwards at about 45 degrees, not critical to a few degrees. I know in the flat this shape will look like a banana and then need to be rolled, again no problem with that once I have the shape.
At the moment until I go back and take some measurement I don't know sizes so I'll substitute with generic scalable figures.
So we assume the circle is 20" diameter or 10" radius, I need the section to be 10" long and 1" high.
Can some kind soul layout the formulae for working this out please and then when I have my dimensions which won't be a thousand miles from this, I can rework the formulae and get a bit of 5mm stainless plate laser cut to shape.
Many thanks guys.
