Anyone use one of these with Mach3 - Ethernet vs USB as I was considering.

I've used it and love it. You can get a bit lost in the initial network setup, but once it's up it works perfectly. Warp 9 support forum make it all easy. I can even run it from a laptop - try that with a typical laptop parallel port. In fact, it removes most the windows and hardware related issues.

I chose it over the USB version - that one has/had issues...

I would not use one for a laser cutter. Mach3 is less than optimal for that. Cant do raster engraving worth a damn.

I would actually look at one of the chinese controls from Lightobject.

Yes I placed my initial order from Lightobject yesterday and Marco suggested the same. Mach 3 is great for machine control, but not for laser engravers. That guy is great, I have watched his online responses to customers and he really truly cares.
Did you use the Misumi extrusions when you built yours?
