There's a nice little shaper in Rhode Island on Ebay for cheap. Owner is threatening to scrap it. Don't let that happen!

I wouldn't normally say anything, but this has been on there before and not sold.

Don't worry, with 23 people per hour viewing it I think it will move (good job)

It does look like a great little machine - as shapers go...

make that 32 people per hour and climbing

Its been painted but looks to be a 70's machine and it has a Boxford Vice, I have seen this kind of money paid for just the vice (vise).

Oh, the hyperbole of Ebay listings, reminds me of the old National Lampoon cover, "If you don't buy this magazine we'll kill this dog". Actually, he said he would be "scraping" it, maybe he was planning to overhaul it. Seriously, it probably didn't make the reserve last time and this time he just let it go for what he could get. Real auctions are like that. Someone did well and the seller doesn't have to worry about it any more.

I dunno. . . . The way I read the ad he just wanted to get it out of his basement. I don't think he was planning on scraping it.

I think it listed for $495 last time, which was pretty cheap just judging from that pretty green paint.

Yeah,
I think I'd have driven the 200 miles or so to pick that one up for that price.
