I tried to post into a thread from a couple days ago and in the process of doing so existing posts in the thread disappeared, and two attempts at posting a new message resulted in the database error and neither of those two showed up.

Also noticed one bit of improvement - a post from yesterday is showing reply counts. Let's see where this post lands.

That survived the database error - this is a reply test. If you don't see it just ignore it.

Can we get past 10 posts yet?

I'm so glad I'm retired and don't have to worry about system problems anymore. Been there, done that, don't never [sic] want to do it again!

I am not being notified when someone posts in threads I have started, I still get "data base error" when I post, and whatever I post in does not move up to the front of the que.---Brian

I know the feeling - I just updated TapATalk on my servers and it crapped all over a couple themes and because there's no update to the theme I had to remove it and reconfigure the whole mess. Not how I planned my morning to go. Then I find out they've removed the 'disable' option on TapaTalk so I may just delete it completely.

Not quite to 10 posts yet :)

I'll help with getting to 10 posts -- search results in "database error" also.

Also, when replying, even though I get "database error" the reply actually does seem to get posted.

I'm only seeing around 10 posts per day, instead of the usual 30 to 40.

Is it just me?

I get a database error too, but the reply gets posted.

I noticed some issues before heading out to Cabin Fever last week. I'll discuss with IT once I get back to the office.

Should be #11 so the Forum software has been changed?

I wonder if Nelson is at his old tricks. George is likely at Cabin Fever and can't do anything about it until he returns.

The site seems to be working totally normally, with the exception of the database error, and the post count/unread post marking.

Replies get posted, it just looks like they don't.

The kicker will be if the system has to be restored to pre-automobile crash status... in which case these threads are toast.

There is still lots broken here. Activity stream not working, post counter not working, database error. Is anyone looking at this site?

George is at a convention so is off the clock from my point of view. I do think tho the longer it stays broke the worse the mess will be to clean up. I've opted to minimize posting as my part of the recovery effort :)
