crashed Volstro head

We put our heads together over at the shop this afternoon, and decided that if we could find a splined shaft out of a wrecked Volstro head, we would try an experiment.
So if any of you, or anyone you know has crashed one, let me know what happened to the parts.
I just don't want to ruin a good head to cut up a splined shaft.
