Next yard sale all this stuff you see in the cookie sheet was in a small cardboard box.
I offered $10.00 and the Lady said yes.
So I handed the Lady a ten dollar bill and she handed me back a five.
I reached out and grasped the five and said to her,
wait a minute, I offered you ten and your handing me back a five?
At that point, the two of us are playing tug of war with the five....

We both started laughing and she said " Boy, I'm a terrible sales person aren't I ?"
We played tug of war for a few more seconds till I let loose my grasp and she kept the five.
All the while her friends and family got a good chuckle.

A mixed pile of drills, reamers, counter bores, end mills, boring bars, key seat cutters,
punches, scribers, counter sinks, a machinist jack, some sort of jig to sharpen lathe tool bits,
an Albrecht 1/4" drill chuck, a 45 degree head for a combo square, and some other mystery stuff....

Two Stanley plastic organizer cases. $12.00 for the lot.
I already sand blasted the heads and still have to clean up the tails and wire wheel the rust off the pipes.

Yeah, thou sucketh! Where do you find these yard sales? The ones I find seem to have mostly knick-knacks and baby clothes and toys and old romance novels and such. I did get a nice AC electric B&D weed whacker that works fine for $5 a while back, and a pile of shelf brackets for less than a buck each, but not much else. The real treasure troves are shows like Cabin Fever and Hamfests (mostly electronics, but some cool tools and stuff too).

Hi,

I first heard SWMBO on a BBC series called Rumpole of the Bailey. It was about an old Barrister who referred to his wife as She Who Must Be Obeyed.

Monkey Wrenches. The bottom one has Ford cast in it.

From the 1926-1927 Model T tool kit. The square end was for the differential plug. My father kept the tool roll when he sold the car (he never could part with a tool), it was around the house for years. My brother probably has it now (he can't part with a tool either).
