Myself, I like the Dodge Powerwagons. International pick ups from the 30's/40's are lookers also. Those were fine looking working trucks. Iowa 80 truck stop has several restored examples on display and a museum behind the complex. I would love to have one to drive.
My brother has a '37 Studebaker he is rebuilding. It was in good looking condition when he bought it but was full of bondo and had a lot of rotted metal all around it. He is in the process of reconditioning it to very good but not OEM condition. Been over ten years and he is not taking short cuts as a previous owner did. The truck was Studebakers entry to the truck market and was a top of the line sedan which the company trimmed off the back and gave it a bed. Luxury interior new and still beautiful today. Too bad makers left the simple but rugged design for todays expensive junk.
