We are looking for some 1/4" square headed set screws that are drilled for safety wire. Anyone know of a supplier? I can't find them, I know they are out there, our ordering dept can't remember where they got them last time!

Didn't find square head set or grub screws at McMasterCarr. MSC has square head, but not drilled. Maybe an aircraft hardware/fastener supply?

Well a quick Google search found these guys:

https://www2.kimballmidwest.com/All-Products/Fasteners/Socket-Screws/Set-Screws/Square-Head-Set-Screw/304974/

Don't know if its what you need but maybe a quick phone call?

they are hardened, for what they cost, i wouldn't waste my time. much cheaper to buy a hundred of the different sizes we need, if I can find them. Not interested in stepping over dollars to pick up dimes :)

These folks list 40 pages of square head set screws, perhaps they have them or know where to get them: http://www.aftfasteners.com/64m8/fasteners/set-screws/square-head-set-screws.html

And these folks manufacture all kinds of set screws including square head, perhaps they can be of help: http://ezsockets.com/

And http://set-screws.com/index.htm is yet another supplier of square head set screws who may be able to help.

thanks for the responses. Jennifer at Kimball came through for us :) 100 1/4-20 x 5/8 long, under $11. can't touch a drill bit for that.
