Stopped by my local hardware and supply store (salvage yard) and found a good 1 1/2HP GE motor. Runs great (CCW, 115v, 11A, 1725rpm). A bonus is that there's a hydraulic pump attached. I disassembled the pump and cleaned it up. Only light wear on the piston followers (psuedo rods). Had one corroded valve that was sticking. Cleaned and polished it; works like a champ.

I'd like to find some specs on it but can't find the manufacturer by the cast-in number.

Can anyone help?

The end plates (heads) have a large C encircling an H. Under that, is "U.S.A". There's a large "PW0015" cast into the body with a small "F293" on the other side. It's a two piston pump with 1/2" I/O ports.

Anyone know the maker? Specs?

Thanks, Ken

A PIC. WOULD HELP, BUT IT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE A VICKERS PUMP, I HAVE SOME KNOWLAGE OF THIESE AS I WORKED AT THE OMAHA PLANT TILL IT CLOSED, IT RUINED THE LOCAL ECON0MY AS FAR AS LOCAL MACHINE SHOPS.

Here's a pic of one of the end-plates (head) showing the logo.

I think what you have there is a lube oil pump not a hydro, but hang on to it they do come in handy. How big were the pistons? That will confirm or deny the application.

The pistons are about 1" in diameter. More of a "cup". The fastening bolt goes through the piston (resessed center) to the follower. It's a positive displacement pump but the cc's look small because of the "well" in the piston.
