Hi Guy's, Have a spare day in Las Vegas next month after the Fishing Tackle Show & was wondering if their are any Specialty Tool Shops or interesting Industrial or Mechanical displays Museums etc, that i could visit .????

I was last there in early january and stopped by a rail road museum in Boulder. It was not open yet, but the guys at the shop were great and let me wander around. Worth the trip. The collection at the imperial palace is nice if you are a car guy. The Shelby shop/museum is fun too.

There is one machinery dealer there I visited a year or two ago. So much used stuff of every description packed in there you can hardly see what all is in there.
It was mainly tooling and small machines inside. I spent a couple hours just poking around in the stuff.

I can't remember the name of the joint but it is fairly close to the strip.
I try to post it if I can find it.

Don't miss the Hoover dam. Take the "hardhat" tour. It costs a few dollars, but it will knock your socks off. One of the really amazing projects of the last century. You will never forget it.
