Interesting picture...again I'm surprised about how much stuff they "stored" on the floor in these older shops.

You don't see that in modern production shops. I wonder what changed the situation?

Seeing the overhead cranes brought back memories, was up in the "basket" a bunch.

You might be suprized at the turn around time on some of those parts,it looks to me that this is a plant maintainence shop.

I used to rework 12 and 16" dredge pumps,it would take me by myself two months to completely rebuild a pump,when they picked up that one they dropped off another,plus it wastes time to have to go and get measurements or check progress.
