Electrostatic discharge machining?

I have a book to build a edm with a vibrating pen engraver..

Not really a edm either. Both will work to remove taps or other boo-boos thou.

Actually, do the research for me, I have a old drill press there next to my welder.. do I just need the solution and rod? Should I make a dedicated machine? I really don't wanna use the cnc.. I think the vibrating pen ideal works pretty well to stutter the arc to the electrode, instead of rotating it like this guy does.. imagine needing a brush connection on the electrode.. two sets of arcs..

I hate broken taps. Stinking metal in the tap is so hard.. So hard to get out.. I relish in the ALum-and using my anodizing etchant tanks to remove from aluminum, they rot right out.

Even if it ain't a real edm.. it'd be neat to have right there and handy..
I was thinking they pulse to a HV capacitor and discharge through a motor driven rotary switch. Really works the capacitor, charging and discharging rapidly. I was thinking pretty substantial voltages on a real edm.. actually vaporizing the metal.. and a wire feed.. Like a mig..
