Hmmmmm that work?
Yes. That is a good deal for both machines, at the moment anyway.
I would be very happy to find a deal like that around here. Not sure what his reserve is though.
Reserve is probably going to be above $3k.
Lathe is worth $1200 or so, mill certainly
worth 1800, whether more is unclear. If it
is a downsized BP knockoff with only 12-13"
clearance under the spindle, then not much
more, if full sized with a small table, then perhaps a bit above $2k. I would be concerned it is 2/3d size BP knockoff. Steve

Now shows 'sold' (for 4$K). Says "auction ended early with a buy-it-now, but the listing doesn't mention a buy-it-now option. Hmmm, what's up with that? Can the seller just call an early halt whenever he's satisfied?

It did have a $4000.00 Buy It Now listing. It goes away when the item is posted.

Yup, It did have a $4k buy it.
And also... Yes!... the buyer can call a halt or just cancel the listing at anytime.
Which I think just sucks.
I always liked the sealed bids at some auctions where you can win with a 2 cent bid. (outbidding all those 1 cent bidders)

I kinda like the "end it now" Function.
I posted some itmes here a week or so back. First bidder was a company who asked right off if they could return it if not 100% satisfied.
Carrol and I calculated they'd have a copy on ebay before I got the original back in the mail.
So? Ohh well.. Screw em, let them engineer thier own. I ended the auction after cancelling bids.
