Hello y'all,

I recently acquired an old TREE milling machine head; I believe from what I've found online that it's a "UV" model.

It's 1.5HP.

Would anyone have any info on this item?

Thanks,

KP

Here is a manual for it

I have that head retrofitted to my 1940 Index milling machine. I am very happy with it. Very quick to change tools, has auto feed for the quill and a decent quill stop. It uses Universal Z collets which are available new or used. I think I might have some documentation on it at home but won't be able to get to it till next week. If you want, PM me on Wednesday as a reminder and I'll see if I can find it.

This is the manual I use for my 2UVR.

Thank you guys for your replies; much appreciated!

I just thought the head was a UV from what I had seen in pictures. The mount on the back of the head is to fit a 3 1/8's round shaft and I suppose the 2 UV's came with that kind of mount too.

So thanks again!
