Anyone use this stuff? I am building a big valve titanium head and was thinking of using this material. I need roughly O.D. 1.5 inch diameter material and a couple Feet? Where would you buy this reasonably? Ideas appreciated Thanks Mike

Not sure about Moldstar in particular, but it seems to be an aluminium bronze. "Run of the mill" aluminium bronze can be found easily enough, in the form of cored bar which would be ideal for making valve seats. Maybe $200 for 2 feet in that diameter.

Used to use it a lot in injection molds. We got it from our metal suppliers, but that was in the states. A plastic injection mold shop might be able to point you in the right direction. Husky Injection Mold is in the Toronto area I believe and does injection mold manifold systems and molds. They may have it and would certainly know a source.
