    Boring Head build (VIDEO)

Built a boring head, made a movie. Thought I'd share.

If anyone recognizes the dial face in the image, it's from the engraving post/thread/question I started earlier.
Thanks again for the tips there!

For a first try, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Granted, could've been cleaner, and there was an
omission or two in the CAM (missed a couple of lines) -- but so far it's been working pretty good.

That was really, really good! Great sense of humor and good skill sets to boot. Very well done. I watched the whole thing. I can't say that I but very rarely watch a whole video. Yours was worth it and I am glad I did. Kudos. Well done.

Another 5 star vid from Tony! I love your productions; everything about them. The last time I tried to convert a bottle jack......

Very nice vidio, but whilst that's true it would not be a good vidio if it wasn't for the fact that the actual machining was very well done, can't have one without the other, you got both right, nice boring head
                Well done

                  Nice production on all counts.
Watching other people make chips is deadly dull, appreciate the speed and editing.
I am wondering if that relief notch will be a problem, prolly not.

His finger seemed to continue operating just fine with it.

Great video Tony, thanks. Although I don't plan on making a boring head, I picked up on a bunch of your techniques. Will be looking forward to more of your work. Thanks again.

See? I really did watch it through. I cannot tell you just how rare that really is. Most oft, I get distracted so easily and... Whoa. Shiny! Gotta go.

                              Tony,

Another excellent video production with great content and technique. I always learn a trick or two watching your videos but I have to say the best one so far is learning me how to time travel. "I've been everywhere man"!
