Anyone know where I can get a piece of brass round 3 5/8" in dia. or larger??? Short piece 1" would do.

I need to turn a 3 1/2" dia. ring to make the weights for my balancing hubs.

Couldn't you take a rectangular piece and mill the inner and outer radius on a rotary table? You don't need an entire ring, just segments?

You could clamp chunks to a lathe face plate and get the radii you need from smaller stock.

There are several alternate methods which are time consuming and a PIA.
My backup plan is to rough out some oversize brass pieces, drill the hole in each piece, scribe a 3" circle and screw the piece to the plate and turn the OD & ID to the proper radius but it would be so much faster and easier if I had the right size round stock and just turned the ring and cut out the segments.

I can't believe the price of brass, just because it's gold in color.
