View Full Version : Ot Maybe- Another what is it

Or rather what is it for. I have a "thing" which I believe is a HH Arnold no 00A Oscillating table. I have come across a couple of references to it on the net and even one picture, but I still dont know what its for. HH Arnold are still in business but are precision grinders these days.
So can some one enlighten me please?

Here's a guess about how to use it. Put the open side down with the bolt through a hole in your work surface. As long as the bolt is loose, you can move the square part around. When you get it where you want it, tighten the bolt. That locks the discs so the square will no longer move around.

I'm open to suggestions as to what can you use it for, though.

How heavy is it?

I saw a home made rig similar to that. The guy was lapping piston rings with it.
His had radial bearings in the linkages.

I do believe you have found it --- it's the only other Antikythera mechanism known to mankind,,, i'll give you 60 bucks for that thing...

I didn't even think to search on Nutron Corp. DUH. Now I feel like a bit of a goose. :o
