TIG separation by This Old Tony

    What a prolific guy!

My oscilloscope and I pick up on what my TIG welder is laying down. The news doesn't look good.

First time I have ever seen a guy create an 18 minute video as part of the preparation to telling SWMBO "I need a new tool".

Dan you got me all wrong, you see it's much more subtle than that. video is phase one. now I wait for the next rainy day and stare forlornly out the window. "No, it's fine.. I'm.. I'll be fine."

Hey Tony, give it up and take a look at the HTP Invertig 220. Not super pricey but super nonetheless!

Your video is outstanding. Again. Naturally.

Tony makes great machining videos too, if you haven't seen them.

Tony's videos are all awesome. My wife watches with me and always asks, "Can you do that?" Especially cutting that metal block with WD-40.

Wonder if the welding machine can be fixed. Is it one of those things where the electolytic capacitors die? I'm sure they're aging with all that ripple current going on.

That's a pretty sweet looking little oscilloscope.

Another entertaining video from Tony, but I have to cringe when he pronounces oscilloscope....

Don't try keeping up with him. My knuckles look like bloody ground beef from practicing his "Bruce Lee One Inch Punch" for weeks on end. Still haven't figured out what I'm doing wrong. And yes, I'm using cast iron.

That is one serious advantage AvE has over TOT... you can never tell if AvE is mispronouncing something by mistake, or on porpoise !!! If I remember right he pronounces it "O-smell-o-scope" ...

I have to be careful, AvE's interesting words started to creep into my vocabulary, I pick up words very quickly, I hear somthing a couple of times and it sticks, fabricobble, choochin reduced to chooch, you know what I mean.
It would seem he has his own version of English, a rare one too but some has spread and is living rent free in my head.
