What's a good paint for matching Walker-Turner green equipment?

Thanks,
Dan

If you have a small sample or chip of the original paint. You could call around to some of the paint supply houses... many have optical analyzer that will give them a formula to mix a color match in a industrial grade paint.

I should have mentioned that I'm not trying to match the color exactly for touch up. I'm repainting the whole thing. Something close will work. Just wondered if someone knows a close color off the top of their head. Otherwise, I'll just go with Rustoleum Hunter Green. http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif

Isn't there an expert on green paint on this board? http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif

Oh.. ok.. Hunter Greens a bit dark IMO. But a good base color. Take some primrose yellow and mix into it..some green.. a little mixing and you'll have a nice lime green color.

But like I said any decent paint supplier can match the paint almost dead on.. and will not cost any more then off the shelf hunter green... Or go to a auto supply store and order some Grabber Green.. that like a 68 Dodge Charger color.. It'll look like it's going fast just settin' there. http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//wink.gif

Heck, if they don't charge to do a color match then I may as well go for it. http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif

Try "Vista Green." It's a standard industrial colaor.
