Hi all:
I am new to this forum and from what I have been reading, I think I'll fit right in. I have started this controlling hobby (machining) a few years back, and man, it has cheated my wife, kids, dog, bartender, and neighbor's wife out of some good "quality time".
It finally warmed up to 20degeesF above here in North Dakota...last week and a half have been down to a crisp minus 37degress F! It took care of those real tough mesquitoes!
Any tips on how to post a picture (of my projects) with my future postings?

Thanks
Hans

Here's link to some posting info; Down a little over half way is "Adding Images".

You'll have to have the pictures stored on an image server like www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) or similar.

Hi Matador: Being that I just started this passion, a few years ago at the age of 45, I am slowly building my arsenal. So far I aquired a Lincoln Pricision Tig Welder, a Bridport Mill, 2 1918 belt drive Southbend lathes, and as the money allows to get the tooling. My hobby tendencies are to build small working minature engines (the radial aircraft engines). I have taken a few machinists classes to get me on my way to insanity! I am a commercial pilot by hobby, and a heavy equip. operator and diesel mechanic by trade. In the winter I get laid off from work so I can "play" in my shop.
Keep the chips Rolling!
Hans.
