I had a girlfriend once who noticed I always hold a sandwich in my left hand and bite the left corner off first, she was(is)a mental case who would notice the actual advertisement, the rest of society(NORMAL NON-PSYCHOTIC PEOPLE) would just say to themselves"gee there goes another nut with an ad on his head, hehe!" http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif

I disagree. His forehead has now become prime advertising space...not because of the day to day walking by, because of the media frenzy he's getting. Remember, he's going to wear that advertisement during any "followup" interviews.

Bet he makes it to Leno, Letterman, or one of those....

"ANY ONE SEE THIS, Why didnt I think of this"

My guess as to why you didn't think of it is...

"Insanity does run in your family".

I don't get it. Ever see anyone wear a tee shirt with a corporate logo, no charge? In fact, they paid for the chance to advertise.

$15,000 for 30 days "work"? The guy isn't stupid but the bidders...hmmmm! I'm bettin that he ends up on the Orange County Chopper
crew as their marketing manager http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif

I do not know whether it is belong to Action-art,or a kind of earning,or a stupid doing....
But I can understand his behavior as there are so many people behave like him in China.

Well, for $22,000 - I expect the Logo HOT Stamped on with a white hot metal stamp - no pain killers either - what an ultra-moron...

Maybe he could advertise a bullet hole for the marine snipers in Iraq...

This guy is pretty smart. He's got a great idea that will net him at least $22k (current bid at this point), and lots of attention, at virtually no cost.

The winning bidder will get lots of free media coverage too --- the TV exposure will be worth lots more than $22k or whatever the final bid will probably be. Of course, the value of this "ad space" goes down dramatically after the first event.

This guy is not really taking full advantage of this opportunity he has created.

At this stage, he should be offering more advertising space on other parts of his body because this is the only time he will be able to sell additional advertising space.

If he tries this again later, the market will have already been saturated by someone else. Now this the time to sell more space (Fingers, palms, back of hands, etc.) before the original Auction ends. I don't think he realizes this.

I can see it now....Viagra on his left "nut", Cialis on the right one....and I don't want to even think about where Preparation H is going to post their ad...
Talk about "target marketing".... LOL!
I would think Bayer, Advil, Tylenol, etc would be battling for the ad space on his temples and forehead....

BTW, you should edit that URL and replace it with this one instead:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5947720145

The URL you provided above will install a special MSN advertising cookie and from now on, every time you visit EBAY, You'll get MSN paid ads.

Everyone that has already clicked on the original URL will now get force fed MSN ads whenever you visit Ebay. I suggest that everyone that clicked on that link above, go delete all of your Ebay related cookies.

Yea, it's OLD now... The guy that started it is missing out if he doesn't offer more advertising while he's temporarly in the spot light.

Size would be of secondary importance. The main criterion would be a tendency to "show one's ass". ,,,tho I'm guessing your bro-in-law would still qualify. Huh?

toolmakerjim

figurtively speaking not literally.
EZACTLY, like they say in Orangeburg, bro-outlaw is a small guy would need postage stamp sized ads.
my wife is the only one who doesnt think he's a ASS even my kids wont talk to him...jim

Way back when I was in 7th grade (1967), my science teacher/phys-ed instructor was on the inside cover of Business Week. All you saw was the top of his bald head with some ad on it for a product that I never heard of and to this day don't remember. I think he said that he was paid $500.00 for the job. Good money back then. Just goes to show, nuthin new under the sun. Just different placement.

For five cases of beer (Moosehead) I will paint the ad on my ass and show it to only cute women. I better not get caught saying this cause Audrey would punish me.

I hope you mean you will give away the beer so they wont remember.

I would be more worrried about her ROFLHAO at the (only cute girls) sexist comment - at your age, you should thank God Audrey doesn't trade you in for a cat or a weekend in Vegas. http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif
