    OT Firefox problem

I'm having a weird problem with Firefox. When I type, the cursor doesn't move to the right of the letter that I just typed, so everything comes out backwards. It started this afternoon and it only affects Firefox, not Word, Notepad, Outlook, or anything else I've tried. It doesn't seem like there's been a lot of traffic on the board today, so I'm thinking maybe I'm not the only one. Anyway, if anyone has any idea how to fix this, I'd appreciate it. It took me forever to type this post backwards (just kidding, I'm using Safari ).

    Thanks,
    Stuart

You must have downloaded the Arabic or Chinese versions
You might not like what I say,but that doesn't mean I'm wrong.

Are you sure that you haven't pressed the "Insert" key accidentally?
Try pressing it once to see if it helps.

It's located to the right of the backspace key normally.

Try Google Chrome. I used to love Firefox, but have switched to Chrome and haven't used Firefox since.

You know using Chrome is like asking to get a virus, that thing is a pile of crap with gaping security holes. if you don't like Firefox, use IE7 or Opera.

Tried Chrome, performed a couple of searches for sails, and a single search for a "snowbee". Since then I've gotten hundreds of spams for sailing related equipment, and sleds.

I've used seamonkey, firefox, and even IE (very seldom) for years and never had such an immediate swamping of spam or 'tailored ads' that was so quick as with Chrome. Sad thing is that even after uninstalling and going back to seamonkey, Yahoo and Hotmail both showed winter sports or boating related ads And I literally HATE snow.

I have had a similar problem with the spacebar not moving the cursor until after I type the letter that follows the space, but I don't recall it happening on anything but Vbulletin forums. It doesn't actually affect the entry of text, and It goes away when you restart Firefox. It happens infrequently, so I've never managed to figure out what initiates it.
