They have made some changes. Currently, if you double click the picture you want to post a new page comes up. on the right is a box with different forms of linking. Left click on the IMG line and it should show that it has been copied. You can then "paste" that line in your posting.

        Try it here first.

              Test of Chrome w/ Picasa.

Simple enough to upload photo to Picasa then right-click the photo and "Copy image URL".

Then in your post here at homeshopmachinist.net you click "Insert Image" at the top of your post/reply and then click "Paste". All done, except maybe adding text to your post.

I created a new album on Picasa for photos I want to share.

Photofiltre is software for editing images - you need a place to upload your edited pictures to such as photobucket.com. The pictures need to be somewhere on the internet and once there you include where they are in your posts. When done right the image will show up with your text.

My favorite is PhotoFiltre. It serves my re-sizing needs painlessly. It is a free download. If I set width to 1000 it automatically sets width to 750. I am forbidden to post attachments. Does this mean no pix ? Expiring minds need to know.

Nobody is forbidden to post pictures here. Create a photobucket account (http://photobucket.com/) and post away.

If you can see it, everyone can see it, provided the link is not to a location on your local hard disk.
