I don't have any drawings of the items so I took them apart and took some pictures. Hope this helps for those that want to copy them.

Diamond dresser:

Body is 3-3/4" long, diameter is 1.910". Key is 4" long ( started with 1/2" key stock and machined to fit slot in the table. Adjuster screw total length is 2.300" long Thread is 3/4 NC but it is not critical. Was going to use a 5/8-18 but drilled the wrong size hole so went to 3/4". Note I have never made any mistakes, only have a lot of spares for yet to be built items. Locking nut is made so that the diameter of the nut is slightly above the outside diameter of the body. Locking screw is 1/4 -20 setscrew with a know screwed onto it. Diamond diameter is 3/8" x 2.350" long. Bought it from J&L. Diamond centerline is about .550" below the diameter of the body.

Thanks for the compliment, hope this is helpful.

Joe

Pictures of the miter gage.

The base plate is 3.385" x5.600", the key is machined to fit the groove in the table and is offset to one side by .160". This was because the diamond wheel is thinner than the aluminum oxide wheel. Probably doesn't make any difference. The diameter of the miter gage is 2.900" thickness of the slotted section is 1/2" with the height of the flat section 1.250" which is no critical. Slot is 1/4" and covers 180 degrees of movement. The body diameter on the shoulder bolt is 3/8"x .375 and the thread is 1/4-20 x .375.

i happened to be in HF today to get an engine crane/hoist, and i saw these grinders were on sale for $119, so i picked one up. it does appear to be a rather solid machine. i don't know if anyone else was looking to get one, but the sale is going on until the 24th or so. i printed this thread out with the intent to make use of it, and now i will.
