    hello all,
    theres a lathe on ebay and I cant figure out what year it is made in maybe you can
    its an atlas and its # 1763297016 maybe you will have better luck! my guess is 1940?

    This series of lathes were manufactured from the late thirties to the mid fifties.
    I would be less concerned with the age of the machine than the condition. It appears to be in very good shape. It would be nice to see a pic of the bed near the headstock so wear could be evaluated.
    All in all, unless there is some hidden damage or wear, this would be an excellent value as it is very well equipped.
