    Post Rockwell 11" lathe

I have an old Rockwell 11" lathe that needs a center variable speed pulley. Anyone know where to obtain a part or fix it?

Didn't someone recently post about adapting a variable speed sheave from a lawn or garden tractor?

It would not hurt to try your local dealer, as V/S sheave form them would be much cheaper, and work just at well if you could match it up.

    I think it was Hoffman.

Golf cart clutch may work, I thought he wanted original parts.

I used the lawnmower pulley on a Logan Shaper. I have a Rockwell 10 lathe and I don't think it would work on that application. A company still makes those sliding sheave pulleys. I think it's called a Hi-Lo. Lemme see if I can find it...
