    Post Rodregues DVD on Gearcutting

    Anyone have this?
Just watched it this evening and spotted some good bloomers in it.
To say how much it costs here in the Uk I didn't rate the value for money given the quality.
Many of the calculations are shown on screen on a calculator tipped away so the screen isn't readable.
No close ups of the gears themselves and due to quality issues ?? the teeth look really rough.

    Comments, flames, support ?????

    OK
So his name is Jose Rodriguez but that doesn't answer the question, has anyone else seen this DVD or Video?

I gather from the name he's Mexican or Southern Californian but is Pi the same in those states ?

I haven't seen his video or DVD, but there is nothing preventing anyone from producing and selling one regardless of their level of knowledge and ability.

I much prefer printed instruction in these matters myself, and stick known instructors, such as Village Press and the Workshop Practice Series.

I also refer to your instruction on gear cutting often, I have printed it out. You mentioned that it was part one, is there a part 2?

Mexico is not a state, and California's status may questionable to some.

One of our states, I think Indiana, tried to pass legislation a few years ago making Pi equal to 3, so anything can happen.
