Post Anybody had a look at new Drill Doctor 750x

it's time to get one but I'm wondering if teh new "improved" model is really "improved" or if I might be better off with the old model. Any help would be appreciated.

This one looks like it might be a good deal?

That price does seem like a good deal, I have only seen the X model for 149.95.

I bought last year so I have the old one. It is ok but the new one looks better, more angles, only one chuck needed etc.

Street price is about $130 for the X or K so it looks like you could save a few bucks. I wonder if the seller has these in stock or this is a pre-order sale?

I guess what I was wondering about is that the new version has only one chuck. Would two plastic crudly made chucks hold better than trying to get one to go the extremee range of 3/32 all the way to 3/4"

I don't think the extra angle will be of much need for my conventional use.

Amazon has it on sale for $104.99 with rebate. I purchased the old 500 thru Amazon for less than $80 and sent off for a bigger chuck to match the old 750 for free.

I have one and it works, just fine. I was really surprised; I am used to industrial sharpeners and was very skeptical.
