    Question Question for Photobucket users

I was about to sign up for a Photobucket account when I read the fine print. Sounds like in return for the free account they get to send me spam.

So, before I agree to such a thing, how bad is it? How much, and how often, do they send e-mail?

    Thanks!

You usually get the option not to be mailed.
    Untick check boxes.
I don't get any spam from them.
Give them a your yahoo email address or something, then if they do send anything, then it's not coming into your outlook express box.

I'm also in the spam-free zone. Things might have changed since I signed up, though, as it was a while back.

I set up a bogus account on a free email page (yahoo, hotmail etc). I use this for any signup on the web. Then they can send all of the spam they want. I dont use it for anythign else.

When I need to ues it for a signup, I go in and clear all of the mail; normaly just a few mouse clicks. Then it is clear for the new sight I'm signing up with to send a password confirmation.
