No powdercoat. Urethane with a hardener.
I don't realy believe in powdercoat for this application. If ever you have to change something, or want to redo, powdercoat is a real bear as you know.
Thanks for the compare to Boyd! I think the painter did a real great job. I sand blasted all befor. Should be good adheasion.
I tig'd entire frame. So, no real filler.
A '32 five window will be on top.

Nice work, those tube pieces between the frame rails are what used to be lacking on the old rods.

Looks like someones done their homework.

Keep the pictures of the progress coming.

    Thanks,

Looks very nice! I hope some day i am skilled/talented enough to make something like that. Speaking of which, what do you have to do in your state to license a (home built) car and make it street legal?

Thats funny, the owner of my shop built a 32, anyways his car also had a-arm front suspension, and he had some bars that we welded up and put in place of actual shocks for the longest time while he was building it. I think every dip**** that came into the shop asked us if we were going to leave those bars in, because they were sure it would be a bumpy ride if we did. lol

Edit: doh almost forgot to say looks good sid. Is it getting a fiberglass or metal body on top?

By the way, you must have one heck of a compressor. That looks like 1 1/4" running into the sandblaster.
