Anybody know of an alternate or offshore search engine that doesn't save your searches?

It depends on what you mean by "save your searchs". If you search for something and it turns up one of my sites and you click the link to go there my server knows where you were when you clicked the link and all the search terms you used to find my site. It's called "referrer information". This may be blocked by some security packages but some web sites won't accept referral from other pages without it.

    Depends on what you mean.

If you want to search for a combination of things
that you want to keep secret, that's pretty much
impossible unless you combine the search (eg perform the
join in database terms) back on your machine, and perform the various component searches via different search services.... which is going ot be hard. On the other hand,
if you all want to avoid them tracing that
particular search back to you, that's simple - you need
    an anonymizer such as
